Job Description

Edinboro University is accepting applications for a Full-time (up to 100%) Temporary Nursing Instructor to teach clinical courses for Community/Behavioral Health and Medical/Surgical senior level in the Innovative nursing program for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Required Qualifications

Applicants are required to have an earned Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Medical Surgical Nursing experience, current licensure in Pennsylvania, and a current Health Care Provider CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications

Medical/Surgical, Community Health and Behavioral Health Clinical experience within the last 5 years, higher education teaching experience, health care related research and publishing background.

Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations.

Specific Duties

Teach the clinical course for, and make site visits during the Community Health focus as well as to be in the institution during inpatient rotations of Behavioral Health focus. This combination clinical course occurs the first 7.5 weeks of the semester. Also, the Senior Medical Surgical Innovative Nursing in the Innovative Nursing course which occurs the second 7.5 weeks of the semester. Office hours would also be required.
