Position Summary Information

Job Description

The Middle & Secondary Education and Educational Leadership Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Instructor or Assistant Professor beginning with the spring 2018 semester. This position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to educational technology and online instruction, as well as supervising field students and student teachers.

Responsibilities
Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Educational Technology or related field. Doctoral degree in Educational Technology or related field required for tenure.
Teaching certification and minimum of 3 years teaching experience in grades 4-12.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Educational Technology or related field; Administrative certification and experience; Experience in STEM Education and/or ESL preferred.

Specific Duties

In addition to teaching, the faculty member will be expected to advise students, perform departmental, university, and professional service, and engage in scholarly activities.
